This episode of Runka Punka Go Go we take a listen to some of Neutro Shorty’s ‘El Disco de Salsa’ after Billboard fans voted it their favourite new release of the week. Neutro Shorty was a (trap) rapper, but he apparently has moved on, opting to release a more traditional dance album. Fans seem to like that, a lot. Are there seeds of a trend here? And we discuss moves by Fender to try to force other guitar makers, big and small, to stop copying their iconic Stratocaster. A backlash among guitar gurus started in response to what some say is heavy handed legal bullying.
